O Christmas Tree

The tree is up!
You know its a slow news week, if the best I can come up with is our Christmas Tree! H-man did most of the decorating himself, while Miss-M laid on the couch and criticised. Oh to be 10 again, and have such a hard life?!!
I love Christmas. I love the tree, the decorations, the lights, the music, the carol evenings, the parties, the food, the good company, the decorations/cards the children make, the fact that our Saviour was born, the children's faces when they wake up Christmas morning... I love it all. Just putting the tree up, has raised my spirits, and stirred the excitement ~ I have excitement and happy anticipation ~ that we may have an extra member of the family to be watching next year. At least, I hope so. And I refuse to think, it might not be.

Your tree is beautiful my dear, but I have to ask, what's it like celebrating Christmas when it's 'summer'? I just can't seem to wrap my head around that one...

ps. We have our tree, miss Ruby Roo picked it out herself & let's just say, it makes Charlie Brown's tree look fancy. LOL If I'm being completely honest, it's probably more of a branch than it is an actual tree. LOL But I told her she could pick any tree she wanted, and so she did. I barely picked it up with a finger & it fit in the back seat next to her car seat. LOL yes, soon there will be pics, I promise.

(we haven't put it up yet, it's cold enough here that we can keep it outside in the yard until we're ready to put it up. Probably another week or so...)

LOL you're funny sister, yes, hot pink looks very sweet on miss Ruby, she DIGS that hat! She calls it her 'Mary Hat' simply because my father's secretary at work (Mary) gave it to her when we first arrived home nearly two years ago. Wow, can you believe that? This coming friday the 30th we've been home for two years. It's just a little surreal.

Ok, the Ricotta containers here come in two sizes, a small tub and a large one. I use the large ones.

Ok, the container says: NET WT 32 OZ (2LB) 907g

I hope that helps! You'll have to let me know how it comes out & take lots of pictures! =)

*hugs* from our corner of the world.

Pretty tree!

I'll be baffled if, with your February LID, that you don't get your referral sooner than that. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate this wait? :P

Nice tree! Puts you in the holiday spirit doesn't it?? We get a real tree so we wait a bit or else it'll be dry by the time Christmas rolls around.

the tree is up at my house too but it doesn't have any ornaments yet. Hopefully soon. I'm trying to get into the spirit this year soon enough so that I can sit back and enjoy it.

Had to laugh when you said to 'Sing Loud'... well, let me tell you that I have been singing up a storm...not that I can sing... hehe... I like your Christmas Tree... I am afraid that the spirit isn't in me this year... feel to much like a Grinch and told Mike to let me sleep in that morning... it just isn't the same when there are no kids around... I wish I were back home for all that mayhem Christmas morning... well, take care...
