Tari Time

Its 5am the morning after TARI TIME! I've been dozing on and off since 2am. Not because our angel is crying or even awake... I think I'm still on cloud 9, and going over the events from yesterday in my head!!

Gosh. Tari is so amazing. She really really is. The bravest little girl, I've ever met.

I forgot to say on my travel journal, that our video cam decided not to record, from the moment, they called Tari's name!!! So, we didn't actually get 'THE MOMENT" on tape. But you know what, like so many other things, on this journey, thing s don't go as you plan in your head. And thats ok. We have Tari in our arms. (and Todd did eventually get the camera to work!)

'THE MOMENT' wasn't as I planned in my head either!! Her nanny walked her out, (Tari was holding onto her fingers, and toddling along) So she wasn't the least bit interested in coming to me!! I ended up just picking her up. I was scared she would scream. She didn't. She just looked at me.

I also need to apologise for the lack of photos the first 2 days, on my travel journal. I used our small digital cam, but we don't seem to have the download lead!! Hopefully we'll find one at the electronic market, down the road.

Here's some different pics, from those on my travel journal, taken with my new camera.
First Glimpse of our baby girl. Finally we are family.

Dad and daughter. (poor baby has a little bruise on her forehead, above her left eye.) Daddy had her giggle a few times, with his funny faces. We blew raspberries at her, and you could see her mouth trying to mimic!! Her nanny was laughing, and so happy!Sleeping beauty.LOVES her mirror! Who wouldn't love looking at that gorgeous face?!!

I put Tari to bed at 8pm, awake. She went off to sleep just before 9pm... and hasn't woken all night. Its now about 530am.

How did we get so lucky??!!!

Tari is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I am so happy for y'all. And you already know she has good taste - who wouldn't love looking at that sweet face 24/7. You might need more mirrors, placed strategically around your house, so that she always sees beauty. :)
