Yeah, sorry, it's pretty much the same as the last post, but it's pretty much what my entire week has revolved around!!! Thanks for all your words of sympathy, my wonderful frozen American and Canadian "friends"!!!
I went out the back, faced the camera up to the sky and pushed the button... I had no idea if the sun even got into the shot, as I had my eyes closed! When my eyes had recovered from the glare, I saw the sun was in the shot, along with a phantom purple thing! Any guesses as to what the purple thing may be?!!! (of course, ridiculous answers are the best... but if you have a scientifically proven answer, that would be acceptable too.)

The purple thing? reflection, darling or maybe a UFO. I don't do purple. It reminds me of the UW Huskies (Cougs bitter rivals) which we beat tonight in basketball. Yeehaw!

It rained cats & dogs here last night, so much so that there was substantial flooding everywhere. Thankfully, not for our home but I know tons of people were effected.
