Reminded

We've had a huge hulla-ba-loo in our Church this week, with links to a Pastor who apparently faked a 2 year illness.

I'm so reminded this week, that we are saved by the Grace of God ~ who's mercy endures forever. We have all sinned, lets not throw stones.

For we know, ALL things will work together for good, for those who love God, and are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28

Catching up on your posts during the week, looks like your house sale is going is well as ous..which is pretty much nothing.
Hoping tht the next few weeks will ring a change and we both get our places sold!

On the church incident..I hope you will fill us all in on a few more details..

Hey, I was just reading about this on-line! Hope that it all settles down soon - you make a very valid point about us ALL being sinners.

How quickly Grace and Forgiveness are forgotten! Hope it passes quickly without damaging anyone's Faith.

Those who judge will be likewise judged.
Sorry to hear your church family is going through this season. Praying for you.

I believe it is wrong to judge a person- who they are- but it is never wrong to judge their actions. I'm sorry this happened and I hope he learns from it. Forgiveness is powerful, and he will have to work on forgiving himself too. But it doesn't mean that what he did was okay, it doesn't condone the behavior. It was wrong to have done this.

I am praying, though :)

Wow! I've never even heard of that. Yikers. Pastors are definitely sinners too.
