Seven...

Let me explain...

I know it appears, I'm taking alot of clothes... but trust me... I have an unsurpassable amount clothing for the Princess. I figure...why go buy cheap China clothes, if I have plenty of very good clothes, I can take with me?!! If they don't fit, I'll leave them for the Orphange. I do plan on buying some traditional outfits & shoes... lotsa shoes!

So we've all got 4 outfits each, plus Tiny has 3 pjs & a spare outfit for the nappy bag. I didn't think that was excessive? Thanks to Cristina, I'm not taking a whole can of formula, I'll fill up 3 bottles, and just take it for emergencies - I do think its best to keep her on the formula she's used to.

Oh yes - shoes are a MUST to buy when in China. They are cheap, beautifully made and fit tiny little Chinese just perfectly. xxx

Hi,

My experience is the opposite.
I adopted in China 4 years ago, and please do take the formula, my baby was driven for 8 hours to our hotel (she was in a orphanage 8 hours away by car) and no one bothered feeding her all day!!!
One of the first things the translator translated to us about her was she was hungry she hadn't eated anything for over 8 hours!!!!
I took her to our hotel room and fed her 2 bottles (she was crying after the first full bottle and I gave her another one) and then she finally went to sleep.
That formula was life saving for her, it was late afternoon, I have no idea what I would have done if I didn't have any baby formula with me. Take it.
It's best to take it and leave it there than having a hungry baby and no idea where to get baby food from.
Good luck on your journey.
We're all very excited on our family including Alice!!!

All the best,
Maria

I did not see any nappy pins in your packing!!! Hopefully her pants will stay up... Lauren was over to visit yesterday and her little jeans were sliding down because they weren't pinned!!
Where are you staying??? Linda
